Piranha Pals

We'd like to introduce a new and improved Piranha Pals program this season. Piranha Pals pairs up swimmers and encourages interaction and friendship. We're making things super easy this year!

New this year:

• The team will provide everything for Pals. Each meet will have a special treat for the pals to come grab at the Piranha Pal tent. Parents will not be asked to buy anything!
• Pals will be paired closer in age.
• We will have spirit events planned for Pal interactions.

Q: What is a Piranha Pal?
Pals are 2-3 swimmers paired up for the season. The goal is for these swimmers to get to know one another and form a friendship/bond over the season. Our goal is to match up newer swimmers with returning swimmers to ease this transition. It’s also really fun to see past and present pals interact outside of swimming. We’ve had many pals feel more comfortable going into middle school because they see familiar faces! We’re a community that transcends swim.

Q: My child is at the meet and wants a treat but doesn't have a pal. How can they get a treat?
If your child did not get assigned a pal, yet wants to participate in the treat for the week, we will accommodate you. The goal is community! We will find a pair of pals and add your swimmer to their duo that week to make them a trio. How fun!

See above. Our goal is to create a swimming community and we will find your child other swimmers to connect with.
